Psalms 147:2-5
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the outcasts of Israel. 3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. 4 He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names. 5 Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.
We live in a rough world. How often do we get knocked down and shoved about? Many of us are still healing from past trauma in our lives.
Here in this Psalm the Lord reminds us that even though we will suffer emotional and spiritual wounds, God will heal our broken hearts.
Jesus is the great physician and stands ready to help us through even the most severe broken hearts. He loves us and He wants us to give all of our heartache to Him, that He might heal it as only He can.
